I see you standing there
watching what I do
the heat is rising in my cheeks
as I get closer to you.

My heart I've opened
and it's resting out for you
vulnerable and yet -still beating
to take it's the toughest to do.

You're unsure what to do with it
I can see it in your eyes
hesitation like you may break it
though it's tougher than you realize.

I feel you touching me
and that fragile heart skips a beat
you smile that wonderous smile
and I slip on my own feet.

But my angel you seem to be
catching me as I fall
and through all of my mistakes
how could you even love me at all?

Tickles in my tummy
your hand is caressing mine
as I watch you watching me
and around us stopping time.
