The hero is playing at being the perfect capitalist

He was reading the financial news on the computer. From his 2th floor one bedroom apartment overlooking a Wall Mart parking lot, the view was as nice as it could be on a rainy day. Some weekend! Since he had woke up, everything was wrong. And now this!

On some article over Bank of America's future prospects, Lulu had authored one comment that he was now rereading.

Very, very interesting ...it brought to life some likely lounge-room conversation.(though it was otherwise).
Great!!! I liked it.

It is a silly little piece, isn't it? Tell me about the otherwise in your comment. I am from Québec and our politic arount here may be quite different than what it is in the USA. I experienced it this winter when I was in Florida for 7 weeks, participating in a "writing workshop" and producing those 4 stories. I think of myself as being from the moderate right. But in Florida, they may see me as a incorrigible leftist even if I did vote for Harper. Thank you so much for reading LULU.

I like the way you wrote this. The imagery at the beginning is good, and the comments are realistic. The politics of the story are also very accurate. The word choice in some spots seemed either clumsy or stylistic. One edit I think you should make is adding an appositive phrase before the first time you use 'Lulu'. Otherwise, short but sweet! Very nice job. :)

So Onnedhiel, you prove yourself someone one can count on. Thank's for your quick comment. And continue the good work. I will, anyway.

nice story, with a proper description of the events, you have focused on minute details and so it's all in front of the reader with not much to think about all he got to do is seeking the pleasure of reading "the great jean lagace's work" :)

If you liked Mike Carpa, he is the hero of PIENSA and will appear again (a very small role) in FAITH. Pleasure of reading... that's praise enough for me.

Maybe Carpa discarded Lulu's loan application that's why she freaked out.

The comments are real on the internet. It would blow your mind trying to response on all the messages but u will end up cursing and mad because the more you reply, the more they bark on you.. :)) hehe

I like this story. Really.

It is not much of a story but I am happy that you like it. Michael Carpa own a barbershop and he is the hero of Piensa en mi. And then, he appear again (small role) in the baseball story Faith. Thank's for leaving a comment.
