Only there when you want me to be.

A Pick Me Up

Don't want to be another net, only there to catch you when you fall.
Don't be another person you want to forget, one you always confide in only when you are in pain
Don't make me out to be a pick me up, someone that will just get left cold standing in the rain.

Be there for me when there's the best amazing moments and when things get dull.
I'm breaking inside, and if only you could hear all the thoughts running beneath my skull.
If only you knew if my glass was half empty, or if it was half full?

Don't want to be another pill, one that you crush and use when you are feeling low.
Don't want to be another person that could have tried, one that you just keep around cause I make you feel high.
Don't make me out to be a pick me up, cause just know when I care about someone I try.

In the end it seems that we always end up hurt, and I'm sorry that we'll just be stuck again feeling pain.
You look her in the eyes tell her you're exactly the same, and that's why it's better you hurt her first.
You break all the things you love, and that is your curse.
