What Is Out There

By Jeff Shumate

What is out there, what is out there?

I see the stars; I see the sky;

I see it all though my eye,

I hear the wind and touch the rain,

I hear, touch, and smell you see,

These are my senses, this is me!

Where did I come from? Who is there?

Where did I come from?  Yes, I care!

Show me, show me, who made me,

Tell me; tell me, I want to know,

And once you tell me, I’ll never go!

So here I am, now I know.

Lead me; lead me, the Most High,

Lead me; lead me, before I die.

When I die, I want to say: You made me,

Led me, all the way!

Thank you!

Thank you, oh Son of God, thank you, thank you, for this day!

KJV Jeremiah 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
