land my parents left

headed North to Miami

little Havana they call it

but Cuba's always home

floating gently away

i reach down touching the water

cool and clear, same as my tears

\"Cuba,\" I wisper softly, \"you're always home\"

palm trees that reach up to heaven

white sand streching endlessly

cloudless skies so blue

forever and always home

rum's got a burn like no other

cigar with such potent tabacco

and sugar sweeter than anywear else

no doubt about it always home

fast spanish on my toung

flag hainging proudly in my room

boxing on my mind

never gunna forget someplace thats always home

weather in a few months

many years from now

even if i never return

Cuba, you're always in my heart and you're always home
