I sit there behind a desk

Listening half-heartedly to my mentor teaching

And I can feel the eyes of the students

Glancing up at me, being bored.

I continuously look up and change my sitting position.

I wonder why I am voluntarily doing this

Even though I love English and teaching.

I mentally roll my eyes

At the corny jokes made by the teacher

And laugh at the student's reactions.

Oh my goodness, what kind of play is this

Of "A Midsummer Night's Dream"??

What was that I just saw?

Oberon, the king of the fairies,

Has a very shiny chest.

The students are saying that

It looked like plastic abs.

That's just so funny, I can't stop laughing.

There goes the bell.

I waved goodbye to the kids

And gave sigh of relief.
