Happiness is all about how creative you can be. If you can use your imagination correctly you will never have to cry again. For example…

Negative Thought: I live next to a scary, dirty strip club.

Happy Thought: I live next to an affordable theater where exotic artists perform.

Negative Thought: I am stupid.

Happy Thought: I am eager to learn new things.

Negative Thought: I am unable to control my feelings.

Happy Thought: I am full of unbridled passion. Like Angelina Jolie in Original Sin.

Negative Thought: I am worried about the future.

Happy Thought: The future is much more exciting than the past. Case and point, once there was no Game of Thrones and now there is.

Negative Thought: I eat way too many Lean Pockets.

Happy Thought: love Lean pockets.

Negative Thought: In my neighborhood it is more common to see people talking to themselves than to someone else.

Happy Thought: I don’t have to engage in awkward small talk with people while waiting at stoplights or in line at the grocery store.

Negative Thought: Sometimes I am woken up in the middle of the night because a stranger is walking down the street screaming about how life doesn’t make any sense and everyone sucks.

Happy Thought: I am awakened to the fact that others are also full of unbridled passion, not just Angelina and I. Thank God. I finally have found my people, my place, my home.

See? With a little imagination you too can have all of the happy thoughts. It’s an art.
