only eighteen but she was in love.
i tried to deny it all along.
to be loved in return was all she could dream of,
but it was taking too long.
She tried her best to please me
But she did everything all wrong.
Even tried my fucked up ways of escaping reality.
She was so young.
I should have just put a gun to her head;
pulled the trigger.
Instead she climbed slowly into her death bed.
She had lived her life with such vigor,
until one day.
Every dollar spend on a little bag of dust.
I placed a rail in front of her; her worries to wipe away.
She needed to try it, life was too unjust.
One time was all it took for her to want more.
I could see it in her eyes; more was a must.
Then one day her morals went out the door.
She had had a little too much
Her body hit the floor,
to life she tried to clutch.
I saw the pleading screams in her eyes as they became still
She was only eighteen
and only wanted to be loved.
