Weather

I

We are children, we are children I will brawl it again into rain as it does rain on nights of speech when every want is walked backwards to the womb.

II

Real biology is so sly like a slipped tax disc down the dashboard wastes truth.

III

When the day is fine hang your friends upon the line, they blow with the wind so differently:

arms waving memories of wear colours you dared to wear fading.

When the rain comes I tend to remember my mother who taught to pull sheets together and peg shirts to catch the wind.
