When school is out, my alarm is hidden.

Without the worry over tomarrow, instead living in the moment; wasted hours.

Welcome in the warmth, my legs are bare; nowI'm not cold.

My skin dosn't itch as much.

My smile iscomfortable & real; my eyes are content & clear.

A sudden chill.

I'm sad to say though that this is not a living; it's only a break.

We know what peace is, because we have lived through pain.

We grow so fast.....

Would it defeat the purpose if Iask to go back?

Isn't youth selfish & free?

I don't want to be careful, I'm afraid to not take the risk.

A summer breeze......

Though it does not compare to snow, I was getting used to the warmth.

A summer breeze can still give me shivers.
