I sit in the dark all alone,

Feeling less, cold, afraid.

I sit in the dark,

Not knowing what will happen.

I sit in the dark,

No one to talk to and the feeling,

Like I don’t have a voice in this world.

As I sit alone,

I wonder,

Wonder if I do have someone,

To talk to and if I do have a voice.

Well I do have a Voice,

And a great friend showed me out,

Out of the darkness.

And showed me I do have a voice,

A voice that stands above all else,

A voice that spreads me apart,

Apart as an individual.

That friend showed me a voice,

My own.
