I tried to make this poem very literal in the story line, however a little challenging in finding the figurative meaning. It is a very personal topic to me because my uncle died of a liver problem and then his 18-year-old son committed suicide. The mother had died years ago due to drug overdose, so the 16-year-old son was orphaned and had no real family left over.

A middle aged father
Drinking problem
A trip to the ER
Eternal hibernation

A young adult
Drug problems.
Rope around his neck,
he drops the cement block
Eternal hibernation.

Like an everlasting rain,
The eternal hibernation brings a feeling of gloom.
