You -- are you the light in my darkness, or are you the one who dragged me to the dark?

The world feels surreal when you were here. Lying on the small of your back, dripping venom from your tongue.

Sweet, sweet the lie you told. Promising, beautiful, alluring. Coated with honey, stuffed with poison.

Strong, strong the grip on my wrist. Protecting, warm, comfortable. The blood rushing in your vessels, I could feel it.

Seductive, seductive your glance toward my eyes. Wanting, passionate, excited. Gleaming with curiosity and twinkling with mischievousness.

Soft, soft the caress of your hands on my hair. Soothing, comforting, gentle. Your fingertips felt ice cold on my scalp, oddly they left fire on their trails.

Your very existence is the flame of my life. Every part of your body is a temptation, offering different consequences.

At night when those wings broke your bone, tore your muscles, ripped your skin, you would stand up with complete pride, the black feathers covering your beautiful inhuman face.

What is my soul compared to the pleasure you offered?

Was that beauty to be wasted only?

So you took me out of the lonely, dark life of mine, only to drop me to a deeper, darker pit. I fell with you. And we are both fallen now. Forever. Eternally.
