A A A

Every day

she wakes up to the same old room, the same old routine.

She gets on the same old bus and goes to the same old school.

She stares at the same guy, all through the day.

She keeps wishing he were hers.

She rides the same old bus to her same old home.

She throws her books and binder on the floor and runs upstairs to her room.

She seeks comfort through her phone, but no one answers her texts.

She begins cry uncontrollably.

Her mother asks, "Why?"

She throws a pillow at her and screams, "GET OUT!"

Her mother just doesn't understand.

She gets out her pocketknife, and begins to cut her arms.

She smiles and greets the pain.

She draws a picture of him, her crush, the boy she's in love with, with her blood, on the wall.

She smiles as her eyelids flutter.

She then wrote,

"I love u -----------"

With a couple quick swipes across her wrists, her eyes roll back into her head and she whispers, "I'm sorry."

Her mother and father found her lifeless, bloody body when she didn't come down for dinner.
