A poem about how death is a gift to some, a release, when they have been left behind by all they know, and just wish to join the dead.

Alone.

So alone.

The boy once loved,

Now a man,

Left behind.

Love had been snatched

By death.

Now he would follow.

Peace.

He felt peace.

Tha calm of death's,

cold hand,

reaching to him.

The smiling of the ones

he loved,

to guide him forward.

Silence.

Just silence.

No one left to mourn,

The sad man,

Left by those he loved.
