A poem written to the girl I never had the nerve to go after...

December 14, 2008

A silver tulip

In a garden of grey

Caught my eye

And my heart one day

Magnificent leaves

With a lucid reflection

Castingthe light

In every direction

I’ll sit in the dirt

Beside the efflorescence

Content to become one

With the beautiful essence

After tomorrow’s dawn

And the spring morning dew

We will see if we have become one

Just me and just you.

Thanks for the feedback. It's the second poem I ever created (the first is lost to the ages now), and arguably the best one I've created. Also, I will gladly check out your work :)
