On the first day, I brought you the sun & laid it in your feet,

But you refused, and so I took it away.

On the second day, I brought you the moon and laid it in your feet,

But you refused, and so I took it away.

On the third day, I brought you the stars and laid it in your feet.

But you refused, and so I took them away.

On the fourth day, I brought you the rainbow & laid it in your feet,

But still you refused, and so I took it away.

On the fifth day, I came to you and said,

"I have brought you the sun to brighten your day,

The moon to guide you through the night,

The stars so you would never be alone,

And the rainbow to make a path to your fortunes.

But with each gift, you refused. Within this, i ask,  Why?"

You simply replied,

"Your smile is a bright as the sun.

Your innocent laughter guides me through the night.

Your eyes are as friendly as the stars,

And your heart holds more fortunes than the rainbow

When you stan at my side, all things seem less important"
