If words could describe how much you hurt me,

Then I’d have a title for my poem.

If words could describe how mad you make me,

There’s a chance you could relate.

If I cut myself each time you’ve hurt me,

I would have bled to death.

If I cut myself each time you cheated or lied to me,

All the scars on my heart would show on the outside.

If I cried from every thought of you,

Then there’d be a lake called Jordan’s Tears.

If I cried each time a song came on that made me think of you,

Than make the lake an ocean.

Everything we were,

No longer pertains.

Everything we had,

No longer exists.

My feelings for you are disappearing,

My heart bleeds from you cutting me so deep.

What makes it worse is you don’t even care about the damage you have done!

You had already moved on before we were over…

Saying good-bye will be the hardest thing I have to do,

But I need to remember all the hurt and tears I have endured because of you.

You are not worth the pain and suffering,

I really do deserve better.

I hope that you wake up one day to regret being such a jerk,

For screwing up things so bad they can’t be fixed.

You made your bed,

Now you’re going to have to sleep in it.
