Malicious and spite, hand in hand
No power to hold, no power at all
Kindness and love, a melody desired
Holds might and forgiveness for anyone
Let the darkness envelope you and feel safe
A light a key will always be with you
A heart with hope, an angel is there
Looking over and protecting from danger

Good fortune to those who deserve it
Willing, anticipating, obliging to the individual
Bad fortune to those who rape the mind
Whose hearts are scattered, torn and corrupted

Bring around the end of time
Walking along the only line
A hope worth fighting, innocence
A cause worth living, serve your penance
A might, a flaw, a strength divided
Too many sins, too many unguided
Bring unto yourself, worship your own
Know when to quit and harm none

For so long I had sacrificed
Always for the greater good
Changed little things about myself
And I thought they understood
My heart belonged yet felt enslaved
Restrained from expanding, to be me
My loyalties laid bare and truth be told
I never wanted for I had what I need

But the tension on my life is now free
The time that was wasted I cannot get back
I am now looking forward for my own peace
My own future has now been mapped
