Divine Right

What makes you think?

What makes you believe?

You have this power?

The authority to look at me the way you do

Your eyes focusing wherever they choose

You look at me like meat

You don’t even bother to know me

To see beyond the physical

You don’t even care

I have become an attraction

You take advantage with your eyes

You hurt me without even trying

You break my heart in mere seconds

And use me for your selfish desires

You have raped me without a gun

How dare You!

You do not have this right

This divine right to look at me

With those eyes

But I, with all my curves and words,

I, have the right,

To hate you forever.
