Children in need
A great cause but what a disgrace
Celebrities galore
Lining their own face
Making us feel really bad
To give a few pound
Watching their stories
And there are the stares, playing around
Living in there mansions
Out in there glad rags
Telling us all
To dig deep into our bags
How much are they all worth
A tidy sum I think
If they gave one tenth of their worth
Would be a great thing
But no it’s their time they give
Of course how glad we all are
How big of them
More air time and perhaps tomorrow a new car
Well I will give my hard earnt quid
And if all them celebrity’s
Go pound for pound
In REAL terms with me
Maybe there will no more POVERTY
