The Empty Minded

Some might argue that infants have a certain characteristic that defines them apart from the adults; innocence. It is subjective, in the eventual, whether or not such a statement stands, and it matters not in the end of the day. We deem children as the cleanest, purest form of living flesh, yet can we really acquire facts to set that idea onto stone? This debate has been dragged on and on as a never ending battle, but none of us have decided to fall back and wonder what the purpose of this debate was all about. To be blunt, there isn’t really a reason. People delve into the minds of the young ones, simply to clarify their understanding of children, despite having gone through that stage themselves.

The question we should be asking, therefore, is what are we?

This is the real question that we humans have been trying to dig up the answer to. Centuries after centuries and yet we fail to discover our true goal of being on this vast rock, floating in the middle of the infinite universe. We spend out days mindlessly with things such as education, law and enforcement, arguments, fashion, and all for the advancement of humanity, but why advance when we have no sole purpose? As the saying goes, there are unlimited wants but scare goods. We are wasting nature’s gifts to enjoy and savor our inventions. But for what? To further destroy our planet Earth? To concoct the smartest smart phone in the world? None of these purposes include discovering our truth and finding our ultimate end.

And so, I leave an ultimatum for you, dear valuable reader, continue with your mindless lives, or prove the purpose of your existence.
