That poor broken child
With dreams of somewhere far away
A beach with cool breezes
The tide going in and out
Her only task is to lay
And be softly kissed by the wind
Receiving solace in her own solitude
Not looking for love or gratification
Only bathing in the suns grace
The calming sounds of music
Music she holds close
Because that's all she every hears
That child
The one with the broken heart
Because she knows, Oh she knows
Dreams like hers
Never come true
