Another day, another lie.
I wish that you would tell me why
you weave a web of dishonesty.
Don't you see what it does to me?
On the line I laid my heart.
You picked it up and tore it apart.
I ask why you do these things
when pain and sorrow is all it brings.
Many nights and days I've spent
torn to pieces, in discontent!
Have I ever lied to you? Ah never!
But your stories are so very clever.
Your craftiness that you've seemed to master
has created quite a disaster!
Because the pain that you have put me through
can't repair the love I felt for you.
It's really sad that you didn't see
how truly amazing our lives could be.
I asked for more than you could give
and if that's the way you choose to live,
then life goes on and I will grow.
But I really want to make sure you know
I would have done everything for you
because the love I felt was true!
.. .. ..
My soulmate? Yes! You will always be..
... .... .....
It's sad... I only asked for "honesty"...
