I held your hand and watched you play.
I thought to myself, for sure "someday"
you'd be all mine, we'd sing and dance.
All you needed to do was give us a chance.
I wouldn't lie to you, hurt you? No way.
You are my princess. What else can I say?
I love you when you're feeling blue.
I love you when you're happy too.
When you fuss, I don't care.
It makes me giggle everywhere.
I drive you crazy. I do. I know.
You push my buttons, you're a pro!
I love to laugh with you.
You have a beautiful smile.
I love to play with you.
Let's walk for a while
We'll talk about what life has in store
and I'll ask you to give me just one more
day to hold your hand, or to hear your voice.
Please don't say we have no choice,
or that parting ways is the only way
to resolve this pain, please, not today.
Walk with me, just one more mile.
To hold your hand.. it makes me smile.
I'll never let go.. and neither will you
our souls are one... our love is true.
