Unto the hours of darkness
Never foretold,
A maiden stands
Beautifying all ambiance,
Yet alone and lament
Rivers flow incessantly
Moistening her pillow
In which her head hides,
And into the darkened night
Honored is the one called forth,
Nor armor nor weapons but arms of love,

As eyes lurk upon them
A faint snarl is heard,
Valor and nerve arise
And she is unchained from her captivity,
And perpetuity of love
