My disappointmen of people using words without knowing thier real meanings.

I am getting pretty sick and tired of everyone using words they have know clue about the correct meaning. More or less religious words such as "Epiphany" which is in reality pretaining to Christian celebration of the manification of Jesus Christ or divine being there of. People need to start checking a words definition before throwing it around. Otherwise do noy use it just to make something sound good Such as a title for a song or writing.
It truly is amazing how we just use words in the wrong context just to sound intelligent. Since I first heard the word Epiphany many years ago in church, I looked it up numers times in various dictionaries and all define it the same way.

just saw some rapper labeled his new album epiphany and nothing he sing has to do with it what so ever. even someone on here label a poem the same thing without it having anything to do with the christian festival of the manifictioan of jesus christ or a divine being.

Yeah, that annoys me too. Although, epiphany could mean "a moment of sudden understanding or revelation", as well. Or so my computer dictionary (wordweb) says.

But I agree with you fully. I tend not to use words that I have just learned or that I'm not familiar with unless I'm sure I know where it goes and how to use it. It's something everyone should follow. My dad does it all of the time, and I just gave up on correcting him XD

I to am guilty to a point of this. But I been literarily given in person literary test and my understanding and use of words is very high. Not that I study or have a literary degree just been around and always questioning and researching. sometimes though in my writings i do purposely misuse words. I do so though to see who is really paying attention and notices.
Yes you're right. Either way though people still use the word incorrectly far to often.
Thank you for the comment. :)
