-

slowly, the layers of my life have been stripped from me

I am here, now, naked and raw

alone

-

all that is left of me, the core of my being

begs for salvation

no god do I follow, but prayers fall from my lips

as raindrops in a storm

-

the winds of time have carried me here

far from the safe havens that once I took for granted

and I look out on unfamiliar horizons

-

my guiding light

my morningstar

has forsaken me

-

I am lost and I am afraid

desperately, powerfully afraid

-

I have nothing left

no more I can give

-

somebody please help me

-

help me

-
