I created a group to gather up imagination. We post and comment just like Booksie, but we include artists and music. I wrote this poem to respond to Booksie's master of horror Ian Dawn in the group. He had put some lunch time musings. I will include a link to the group if you are interested in joining. If you like art, writing, and music, that is. Anyhoo...here was my response.

I dream a dream,
but I find nothing...
I sing a song,
but my audience is silence..
I belong in a museum,
but my canvas is blank...
I am but I am but am I?

I dance the dance,
but my feet trip me up...
I breathe my first breath,
but the air rings stale...
I own my soul in self,
but I can't see my reflection...
I am but I am but am I?
