Our pens flow the pain of injustice

Like a river roaring quiet in the rain…

Our ink is the black of color

But we all have color in our heart, don’t we…

Our words speak the joy of love

Or it tells our anger, our hatred, and our sorrows within…

We sing the song of heart

And the pureness of our souls, sometimes…

We say it is Ok to love one another

No matter what our sexual preference is…

We say we love each other and beauty

We love poetry, art, and the power of our minds…

and we mean it!

We fucking mean it!

Our words scream of pain

we sing of joy

Our words paint our pictures

We still bleed red…

Our souls bare us naked

We do not care if you want us…

Our voices are not alone.

We don’t need your help to be beautiful

We Don’t…

WE DON’T…

AND WE WON’T BEG ON OUR KNEES

Our voices know chaos

Our voices know anarchy

Our voices know you…

But our pens can fight back and say

And say…Fuck You!

We are your people...

We are the people of the pen!

And we aren’t afraid to make the world right…

ARE YOU?
