1. Mr. Brown the Antique Dealer

Mr. Brown is an antique dealer who owns a store in town. Ever day, except of course when it's raining, he walks to the store from his home which is situated outside of the town. He is in no rush since he is the owner, therefore he can open it up whenever he feels like it. His one problem is that he is very curious, like a cat. One day on his way to the town he sees a an with wood that seems antique in nature. The two men chat for a bit and then Mr. Brown is invited into the other man's house, who is a collector...of sort. Mr. Brown's curiosity gets the better of him and he might get more than just a bargain once he sees the collectors private collection.

My Wife and I visit antiques shops frequently. I thought about the owners collecting antiques all over the world. Their curiosity must be intense. Then I thought, hmm...curiosity killed the cat, why not an antique dealer.

2. The Man of Glass

A female psychiatrist and a male patient have a conversation about the patient's life. The conversation takes on a weird feel and you know something isn't right but you can't put your finger to it. When the mind is broken can it be fixed? When the mind is broken, what reality is can be fiction. The relationship between the doctor and the patient is not what you think as you start to read it, and just when you think you know, it isn't. The Man of Glass will cause you to double take your conversation at home and who is there.

I really enjoyed writing this one. I kept thinking to myself, where is this conversation heading, who is this doctor and who is this patient? I was intrigued that I was able to write a story all taken place in an office with two people having a conversation and still keep it interesting. I wanted the conversation to turn, become away from the norm, have a twist, a deception of a sort-a mindless tale.

3. Dream

Everyone has dreams-in this sense, dreams of a better life. A young man dreams of a life with his girlfriend, a life of tranquility, a life of love. But what happens when you wake up? Reality kicks in and you see what sadness and evil lays before you. Some peoples dreams do come true and yet other dreams come crashing down and the reality suffocates it.

This story has a lot of truth to it. Although it is fiction, this story really is close to my heart and so becomes one of my favourites. I lived a life of dreams similar to the character. My dreams were nearly chocked out. However, unlike the character in this story, my dreams came true. Will yours?
