A morning angel watching over me
Crowded over at the end of my bed
A beautiful face was she
To the window she led
~
I saw the gates of heaven shined down on mother Earth
I followed her towards the gates
I felt like a new-born at birth
I see crowds of souls with their mates
~
I wonder if he'll be here with me one day
The one I love, that couldn't be besides me now
The place was beautiful, it met every cliché
Then I saw him, and I felt as if I should bow
~
Yet, I couldn't because I was no longer me
I was a soul... just a soul
I was happy though, that was a guarantee
I wasn't just happy... I also felt whole
~
Complete
At ease
Not in the mood for a repeat
Not even if someone said please
~
So I'll lay to rest now
My life over...
and that I'll definitely vow
So I lay, and wait for my griever
My lover
