about loss

-she-

You left me crawling, falling, blinded by the sun
Fighting for my own breath
I closed my eyes and saw how one,
Can create more beauty in life through death.
I'm draining my own mind each day,
Kicked back, erasing fears
Wasting wasteful time today,
On the worry of wasted years.
You left me swaying in the breeze,
A hanging tree, barely alive
Hiding our unease at your decease,
Are we living to survive?
You bit your lip and knocked the breath out've me,
Beauty breeds desire
Your burning eyes shot straight thru me,
Reflecting inner fire.
