I read the book 'The magic finger' by Roald Dahl and was inspired to write a found poem from the book and this is what I came up with.

I am a girl

I am eight years old

I did it

I saw red

I put it on the whole Gregg family

He lay still

He sat up

He saw what he looked like

She woke up

She saw what she looked like

That night a great wind began to blow

The morning came

They were shot at,

So they begged…

And finally their lives as ducks were over.
