As she laid her head down on my chest

Like a puzzle piece falling into place

Holding her close put my body at rest

Serenity and calm were my mind’s saving grace

Her touch encompassed the warmth of an angel

Together locked safe in an impenetrable embrace

Knowing she is without foible

In arms that come from a heavenly place

Her fragrance that was so divine

Nothing could have smelled so sweet

Sealed with a touch of her lips so fine

Nothing else would have been a greater treat

Despite this effort, nothing can truly describe

The feelings felt that dwell within this scribe
