What is a family?... Have we yet figured that out?
I want to consider us one, but then I have my doubts.
We argue and fight, like we're enemies on the street...
But when the social workers or judges come, we clean up neat.
We try to play it off like we're getting along...
But deep down I, we all know it's wrong.
So why not make it right and we all work this out,
In a civilized manner, no need to scream shout.
I beg you mom and dad, for all of us kids...
To resolve you problems, and close all lids,
To heal all open wounds, connect all broken lines!
To be a family once more, with an unbreakable bind...
