My Poem about Man. By J E Jones 16/7/83

Man is a hunter by instinct it shows

His destiny fated that we all know

Obstacles to cross, paths to steer

The animal in him can be too much to bear

His strive for success is written in the stars

Failure it seems is all but afar

His passion for love, entertainment and pleasure

Makes him vulnerable for females to measure

With restlessness a part of life

The thresh-hold of boredom is hard to fight

Anxieties bring stress and strife

Daydreams are his only delight

His quest for knowledge is a challenging feat

With many obstacles to beat

Senseless, shameless complexities

Make up man,s rich tapestries.
