Sometimes what happens in the world around us is a better reflection of what is happening in our hearts and minds than anything we can come across in ourselves looking for and explanation

Fog.

A freezing fog, they call it.

It stopped Heathrow

Cold and thick with almost zero visibility

Frustration reigned

Something you can do nothing about

Like traffic

air traffic

I know though, what it feels like

To be stranded on the side

Just waiting for the fog to clear

But this fog won’t disappear

I’m trying to dispel it

With music, smoke and booze

Surprise! it isn’t helping

I think it’s getting worse

My Jesus is my Savior

My one and only King

I live though like I’m foreign

cliff-hanging by a string

So, holding on for dearest life

I need the Son to shine

He is the light of all my life

The Son, both sun and star

By day he leads me through my life

At night my southern cross

With Him my vices will not be

Forever-more my boss.
