Buffet
Well, what can I say,
We have quite the selection,
This is a buffet of course,
At least of a sort,
Oh, you don’t say,
You didn’t take your pills today?
Well then,
Reach right in,
We have quite the buffet.

Mosaic
Each stone left unturned,
Each stone a lesson learned,
A mosaic of my life,
Life is full of colors,
Some dark,
Some light,
But smile sometimes,
Even if it’s just in spite.
________________
Trance
Left in a trance,
I’m in the sky,
Zooming, soaring, flying,
I think I might die,
Falling,
Falling
Falling,
Wondering why
Why can’t I stay,
Up in the sky?
________________
Flow
Although,
It stopped a long time ago,
I remember when the river flowed,
Yes,
The river from below,
Where did it go?
Happiness could bestow,
But now its gone,
Buried under the snow.
________________
Prediction
Id make a prediction,
About my addiction,
And I don’t mean to make a contradiction,
But do you know?
About addiction,
I have an affliction,
Please help my addiction.
________________
Leftovers
There is nothing left over,
I’m shot I’m through,
There’s nothing,
Absolutely nothing to do,
Except to drink,
And think,
About you.
________________
Joy
Medications I do employ,
To bring me joy,
Love to me,
Is a toy,
Hate brings me joy,
I love,
I hate,
But I do not desire,
Go ahead,
Throw my joy in the fire.
________________
Hazy
I see monsters in my bed,
Demons racing through my head,
I really wish I was dead,
My therapist says I’m crazy,
My mom thinks I’m lazy,
Everything is hazy,
I’m so bitter,
I want to leave,
The world is sad the world is mean,
The things I do are quite obscene.
The chemicals make the demons go away,
I think I’m safe,
For today...
________________
Laced
I leave not a trace,
My demons I can’t face,
This has a strange taste,
I feel better somehow,
Then earlier today,
I think this is laced,
I’m flying away...
________________
Forest
I walk through the forest alone,
Everything so colorful,
The woods,
So wonderful,
The forest covers me,
The leaves fall,
I do too,
The grass is green,
The sky is blue,
I’m just sitting in the forest,
Nothing to do,
Except to sit and wait,
For you.

Wind
Gone with the wind,
Goes my soul,
Where my heart was,
Now there’s a hole,
The wind carries me away,
I’m hollow inside,
What worries and troubles me,
I can no longer hide.

Passion
My only passion is to get high,
After that,
I’ll soon die,
Or face the repercussions,
But,
My passion is to die,
I no longer seek,
My soul now meek,
I think?
I’ll just crawl into a ball,
And forget it all.
________________
Extort
My family, I extort,
The truth I contort,
The man I am inside,
I can no longer hide,
My life must be cut short,
I must die...
________________
Faithful
I am no longer thankful,
Cause no one is faithful,
There’s nothing left,
I’m all out of faith,
I’ve fallen from grace,
I’m quite simply,
A disgrace.

Suppress
For I am truly depressed,
My true feelings I suppress,
My life is in distress,
I have nothing,
No one left,
These feelings I have suppressed,
Have killed me,
I’ve died,
I am no loner,
Alive.
