The City of Gold
There’s no sign of life
No vital signs at all
You were always in my mind
But you were never by my side
No…Not at all
It’s hard to stay alive
In a world full of change
I left you in the wind
But I’ll never say bye-bye
No…Not at all
Moving through the moonshine
Though as fast as I can
Reaching for the shadows
The days of the end
And now the Rain washes in
Now theWind pulls me away
Prisoner of pretty lights
Found dead inside the day
You’ll find me in the city of Gold
Sailed past the lights of the souls
City of gold it stands alone
Stay too long...
Watch her swallow you whole
