I can still remember the day When you happened to pass my way We were just strangers we had no intention of becoming anything more But life is filled with many surprises Sometimes they come in pleasant disguises So we should be prepared because anything can come our way

As time goes on we are blessed with many things They make our hearts as one and we want to sing But hard things come to and some times we just can't make it through Try as hard as we may it is not easy to make it through every day And our once bright futures dim away and they do not stay

So some how we try to do the best that we can For the sake of our children we remain friends And we always share our grins We still have a future with our family and friends They have grown now and have children we can see So our futures still look bright because we're happy
