I Offer You Our Solar Sun

Just another poem about our sun.

Seeing that the sun is the most powerful in our solar system,

I'll go and gather it up.

But first I'll pray and ask of Him,

The Creator, to present it to you in a cup.

It will be hot, to keep you warm,

To renew you now and then.

You'll be ok, there'll be no harm,

just another atom all over again.

A solar wind will blow and keep you cool,

You'll be in no danger, no matter where you go.

You'll be completely wise, and not be a fool,

I always wanted it for you, to be so.

You'll be sun-tanned, chocolate brown,

A few drops of rain will sprinkle your face.

Not enough to make you drown,

The sun will dry it up, leaving no trace.

Now you've seen what I've done,

I've given you our solar sun.

To keep you warm and in a merry mood,

Sun rays will be your daily food.
