Rain, you came down and shower me,

Now I'm as wet as ever.

Cold with those cloud drops that over -power me,

I should have sheltered and be clever.

Its nice to see you falling,

Upon the trees and on the ground.

Once in a while you keep on calling,

And other times you can't be found.

I like you, rain, I really do,

You wash away all the dirt and slime.

Sometimes you come down too hard, that's true,

But when you rain, its no crime.

I'll wash my face, my hands and my feet,

Then I'll go inside for a while.

Your rhythm is fine, its a soothing beat,

Looking through the window, you make me smile.
