A hunters Tale

My blade kills this beast tonight
Groan it does as it dies
Moan it should because it was stupid to fall for my lies
You love me don’t you? You sad creature of the night

Live my life in the day differently I do at night
Hunt I do using my charms
Like a wizard I put a spell on you
That would lead to your demise

Tonight you were made mine
Like the many that came before
Your possessions I keep locked away in my secret draw
From me you will hear never more

Satisfied was my thirst but this wont last long
For tonight I hunt another beast that would dance to my song
It’s lyrics of death filled with lies trust me you did
Now I leave you to the flies

Miss me in the morning your cave will
Because I never return to a place where I once killed

A new prey now I find
This one is a prize worth keeping I think in my mind
Know the rules of the game I do
But still I let my guard down what a fool

I challenge this beast and sing my best song
Dance it does with me all night long
Never has a beast been able to keep up so long
This ones fight is powerful still I stay strong

The next evening I longed for such a challenge again
But others could not satisfy this hunger
So break the rules of the hunt I do
Return to my crime scene

Another dance we dance I wonder if I dream
This beast seems skilled in all the arts
A long history I have filled of broken hearts
Never have I felt this way for a beast

But this beast to me earned a name
Love this creature I would
Long for its fights and its companionship I do
Foolishly I chase this beast deeper into the forest

She would carry me
Until one day I could see no way out Marry me I said
In my face she did then laugh made you a beast now
You resemble an ass

For the rules of the hunt had never changed
But I was now the hunted and a girl named Jenny
Left I for dead all the beasts I killed now passed through my head
A proud hunter was I foolishly I fell for her song

Filled with lies

Devour my flesh she did and took pleasure in blinding my eyes
I danced for a year to her song but today a hunter dies
No longer will I pierce other beasts as myself
But had a laugh I once did
At the beast that made the hunter the hunted.
