So, You Hate Me, Huh ?

I feel the “love” in your hatred
As if you’re afraid to say,
Without your help, my brother,
I can’t make another day
I feel the “want” in your hatred
I feel the pain in your need,
But I, alone, can't help you,
I didn’t plant this seed
I do call you “brother”,
But you’ll not on call me
For I’m a meddler and a pest
You want to run away and flee
It's not me that you hate,
Nor your fate in this place
You act as if I'm to blame
So I know it's not too late.

In the mercy of the One,
And when my life is done,
if I am proven coldly wrong
Seek hope in the Father and Son
