A Rescuer’s Song

With a heart broken and fallen inside of thee

You claim the sands you walk as golden believe,

That forever lost all your love will be

Scared that fear has all but at last set sail at sea,

Your soul’s longing frets shall soon subside

For I have come to claim solitude’s last goodbye,

To you I will give the most beautiful crown

Though neither jewel nor gem is worth your laugh’s sound,

By your side I will live until the end of time

When our hearts become separate only by mortal lines,

And if the time comes that I am left alone

The stars your shape will forever hold,

Your memory will naught soon be forgot

When those of yonder years see my tears held in the sky’s perfect plot

I love it; too much love! It's amazing and idyllic.

Truly made my day buoyant!
