LOOKING UP THROUGH TIME ITSELF,

SIGNIFICANCE IS FOREVER SOUGHT.

STARS BURN FAR BEYOND OUR REACH,

YET THE LIGHT ENTREATS US NOT.

TRUELY NOW I SAY TO YOU, BEFORE OUR TIME IS GONE .

THAT YET I FEEL SO DOWN AND BLUE

WHEN YOU MUST LEAVE ANON.

DREAMING A DREAM THAT FEELS SO REAL.

IT’S HARD TO SAY GOOD BYE.

NO ONE KNOWS QUITE HOW YOU ARE

WHEN YOU SLIP AWAY TO CRY.

TEARS FALLING DOWN AS RAIN,

MAKES A BEAUTIFUL SONG.

WE CAN FIGHT AGAINST THE TIDE

OR SING THE SONG ALONG.

RHYTHM DANCES GRACEFULLY,

THROUGHOUT THE PAGES OF TIME.

TURNING THEM WE WATCH WITH AWE,

AND CRY THE BEATS OF RHYME.

BEFORE LONG WE’RE DANCING TO

THE RHYTHM OF TEARS AND CLAPPING.

MYTH AND FACT JOIN RIGHT IN,

AS OUR FRIENDS FALL IN DEATH AS NAPPING.

SHORTLY TOO THE DARK SOLDIER COMES,

TO TAKE US AWAY FROM LIFE.

NOW NOTHING MATTERS AS WE ARE FREE,

FROM THE TRIALS AND WORLD OF STRIFE.

WE DO NOT FIGHT FOR WE ARE READY,

TIRED AND OLD WE’VE BECOME.

WE CLEAR THE FLOOR AND STEP ASIDE,

FOR THE CRYING DANCE OF THE YOUNG.

DARKNESS IS PRESENT ALL AROUND

OUR EYES GROW HEAVY THIS TIME,

SLIPPING AWAY WE STILL ARE SINGING,

OUR FINAL SONG FOR RHYME...
