This is a poetry i wrote for my seniors in school.

13 years it has been my friends,
13 long joyful years .
You have been our seniors, our guides, our friends;
And writing this has brought me tears.

The things I’ve learnt from you’ll,
Will take years to write.
Be it in football or cricket, drama or debate
You have always been our light.

I remember my first debate,
Apprehensive and scared was I.
Came seniors to my rescue,
And my fears went tata bye-bye!

Even in the field of sports,
Where many battles lost and won.
They have always been beside me,
Amidst all frolic and fun.

Even though I have performed poorly
In my first term exam.
They’ve comforted me by saying
“We did the same, it ok man!”
These are just a few examples
Of their help and support in school.
And outside they have also been the same,
Fun, headstrong, lively and cool.

Mephisto’s the name of a football team,
Our seniors and us have formed.
We dream of being the best in Cal
So guys out there ‘Bring it on!’

All has not been a bed of roses
We’ve had fights a couple of times
But the love between us has never been lost
And like the sun it always shines.

We’ll miss you, we love you
Is the least we can say.
Forget us not we your juniors
Days after today.

All good things come to an end
So here’s all our-good bye’s.
And best wishes we can think of
Thank you for everything guys.
