A tribute to a beautiful sunrise observed on a morning run.

Blackness surrounds us

And encloses the town.

Stars fade,

The moon sleeps.

Orange and pink

Slip into the sky...

Somewhat disguised

By the clouds of fog.

Slowly,

Colors envelop us

In a serene

And loving sight.

Fog parts,

And pale sky appears,

Reassuring us

Of the good day planned.

The majesty of a sunrise

Every single day.

Nice imagery, really expresses the beauty of nature. You might like my poem 'Elythria', which takes place in an isolated forest. Keep up the good work!
