Do you want to lose weight? If you do, I know some things that could be of help to you. And, I don’t mean to sound like just another
advertisement making promises to help you and charging you for it too. I promise you, this is free help. It’s not a diet and I don’t have a big name for it either. I call it
Common Sense. Maybe you want to drop some pounds or only maintain the weight you are now. I have some tips that have worked and are still working for me right now and I am “hungry” to
share them with you. All you have to do is promise me that you would, at least, read on and try my own personal knowledge when it comes to food and eating.
I am nowhere near perfect like everyone else and sad to say, but I did not finish high school, nor did I attend college and earn a degree in dietician, fitness and health or anything like that. But, I do major in common sense when it comes to my own body and my hope from me to you is that you will learn and achieve your own common sense about food and eating. I know what my body wants and needs to eat, when my body really needs it and how much of it my body’s really asking for. When you think you are hungry, take at least two minutes to listen to your stomach and ask yourself, “Am I really hungry or do I just want to eat?” You will find that most of the time you just think you’re hungry when you are really just feeling some other emotion and just want to associate food with it, as I have found with myself. C’mon let’s face it, food is just so good. I mean who doesn’t love food? That‘s right, nobody. We find every reason to eat and most of the time we are just being plain greedy. I will explain more of that later. Now, after about two minutes when I find out what I am really feeling, I try to steer my focus away from food completely and satisfy or handle the real problem without involving food. It is not always easy, but that alone, can help you to eat less and in turn, you lose weight. If you can’t do it, drink something healthy instead. Everyone knows that drinking can fill you up. And, fast too. You’ve heard your friends or even yourself say, when waiting for your order at a restaurant, you didn’t want to drink too much so that you had room left to eat your meal. Well, there you go drink something healthy until you’ve lost the desire to eat anything at all.
Play “tricks” on your stomach as I do. It can help you lose weight. If you find that you are truly hungry and it is not some other emotion you’re feeling, prepare a healthy meal to eat. Stop eating the second you feel that hunger pain no more. I don’t care how much food you have left on your plate. The truth is you most likely served your self up more than you could eat in the first place. Like I have. But, don’t worry. You don’t have to throw it away. Share it with someone or just save it for later. I hope you try this for as long as you can. It does help.
